In May 1997, 102 Squadron "Trisonics" of Indian Air Force Mig-25 spying airplane emerged as really newsworthy after it was distinguished in Pakistani Airspace.

An Indian Airforce Mikoyan Mig-25RB Foxbat-B surveillance aircraft made a bedlam when the pilot flew speedier than Mach 2.5 over Islamabad following an observation mission into pakistani airspace. The Foxbat broke the sound barrier while flying at a height of around 65,000 feet over Islamabad, the mission would have stayed undercover otherwise.

The sonic blast was heard through the greater part of Islamabad and made a significant swell. The Pakistan Government considered the breaking of the sound barrier as think act to rub it in the characteristics of the pakistani officers that they had no aircraft in its stock which can match, can coordinate the Foxbat cruising rate and tallness of 75,000 feet. Anyway from one of pakistani air force operating bases, radar followed the interloper and the F-16 as mixed  sources at Pakistani airforce said that there was no compelling reason to block a plane flying at the height of 65,000 feet. As the Falcons confined by their administration roof of only 55,000 feet were no match to the foxbat and never got up to speed to it, by which time the foxbat was 125km away indeed, even at its journey speed and securely in Indian airspace. To the eyewitness on the ground a sonic blast sounds like a noisy rehashed thunder-applaud you regularly connect with a thunder storm was heard. The pakistani airforce later issued an announcement that an Indian Mig-25 had abused its airspace. Pakistani Foreign pastor Gohar Ayub Khan said that the airspace infringement by an Indian Mig-25 warrior fly couldn't be rebuffed in light of the fact that Pakistan did not have any aircraft or rocket or other barrier ability to catch aircrafts at 75,000 feet. Pakistan military asserted that the aircraft was photographing sensitive spots. They utilized this as a reason to campaign for a climb in their defence expenditure.
Questions were brought up in the parliament, India said that the interruption into Pakistani airspace was incidental. This occurrence featured that pakistani airforce had nothing in its stock that could shoot down the Foxbat.
